DESCRIPTION:New Hampshire is home to over sixty-one covered bridges\, 46 of which are over a century old.  Join Kim as she presents an overview of these bridges and shares information on the Sandown area covered bridges that have been lost to time. This program includes an overview of historic preservation efforts to save these historic landmarks and resources to start your own journey of discovering New Hampshire’s covered bridges. \nFollowing the presentation\, Kim will be available to sign copies of Covered Bridges of New Hampshire. This program is hosted by the Sandown Heritage Commission and is open to the public.
