Program – Newport’s Covered Bridges

Newport was once home to nineteen covered bridges, thirteen of which were along the railroad. Today, only two railroad bridges and one highway bridge, the Corbin Bridge, remain. Kim will share the histories of the Corbin Bridge as well as Pier Bridge and Wright’s Bridge. This is a closed event hosted by the Reprisal Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution in Newport.
