Sawyer’s Crossing Bridge

Built in 1859, Sawyer’s Crossing Bridge crosses the Ashuelot River in Swanzey. Locally known as the Cresson Bridge, the 158-foot, two-span Town lattice truss was built at a cost of $1,735.94. The builder is unknown. Today, the bridge is maintained by the Town of Swanzey.
