February 28, 2027 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Whitney Community Center Program Jackson

New Hampshire was once home to more than 400 covered bridges, and today over 60 authentic bridges remain, many more than a century old. Discover the fascinating history and stories behind the covered bridges of the greater Jackson area, including the Saco River, Swift River, Stoney Morrell, Bartlett, Jackson, and Albany Bridges. Learn how these historic landmarks have survived through the efforts of dedicated communities and explore the stories of the many bridges that have disappeared over time.

This program is hosted by the Whitney Community Center and is free and open to the public.
