Stowell Road Bridge

Built in 1990 by the Town of Merrimack Highway Division, the Stowell Road Covered Bridge spans Baboosic Brook. The 32-foot stringer truss was constructed using a prefabricated bridge kit from Wheeler Consolidated, Inc. of Minnesota, with the bridge panels assembled by Merrimack Highway Department crews. The roof was constructed with lumber milled at Goose Bay Lumber in Chichester and coated with fire-retardant paint.
