River Road Bridge
No. 36
Built around 1858, the River Road Bridge spans Perry Stream in Pittsburg. Little is known about its construction, and maintenance records are limited. The bridge received repairs in 1966 and later work to its abutments and deck, including the addition of steel I-beams. Bypassed in 1984, the 51-foot Queenpost truss remains closed to vehicular traffic and is now a popular fishing spot.
