Built in 1877 by James F. Tasker for $528.12, the Blow-Me-Down Covered Bridge spans Blow-Me-Down Brook in Cornish. The 86-foot, single-span multiple kingpost truss is also known as the Squag City, Bayliss, Gorge, and Freeman’s Mill Bridge. Maintained by the Town of Cornish, the Blow-Me-Down Bridge remains an excellent example of Tasker’s craftsmanship.
