Waterloo Bridge

Waterloo Covered Bridge was built in 1860 by Dutton Woods for $473.65. Located in the village of Waterloo in Warner, the 76-foot, single-span Town lattice truss crosses the Warner River.

Waterloo was once home to a gristmill, tannery, clothing mill, trip-hammer, and paper mill. A busy railroad station was located near the bridge, and in 1913, windows were cut into the bridge so travelers could look for oncoming trains. The bridge is maintained by the Town of Warner.
