The Podcast

Hello covered bridge people!

Yes, I know I just published a 288 page book about New Hampshire’s covered bridges. But believe me when I tell you that everything I learned didn’t fit in the book!

My journey to research these covered bridges put me in contact with so many interesting members of the bridge community (read The Gratitude Chapter post) and I’m so confident you’ll want to hear from them directly that I created a podcast.

Season one of the Covered Bridges of New Hampshire Podcast drops on October 18, 2022. You can find it anywhere you get your podcasts, or, through this link.

The inaugural episode features my friends from the National Society for the Preservation of Covered Bridges. New episodes will drop every week with a wide range of guests. We will be talking about the Town truss, bridgewright Peter Paddleford, the Durgin family of Sandwich, the Historic American Engineering Record, bridge carpentry, the Bath Bridge, the New England College Bridge, the Ashuelot Bridge, and the Bement Bridge.

Wow!

Whether you’re a covered bridge expert, or, know very little about covered bridges, this podcast is for you!

Be sure to subscribe to the show so you don’t miss any episodes!

Here we go!

Covered bridge researcher, genealogist, bird watcher, dog lover.

I am looking forward to sharing this podcast and also listening to the upcoming series. I have told a few of my coworkers about this and they are also eagerly awaiting the release date. The book came out great!!
